Hi guys! 😊 We’re almost done with the program — time really flies, doesn’t it? It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come already. This week has been filled with some great moments, lots of learning, and a few challenges too. Let’s make the most of these last days together đŸ’Ș

We started the week with a day at Huntington Beach. The students were excited to try surfing, and while not everyone managed to stand up on the board, there were plenty of laughs and great photo moments.

The beach was a perfect setting to relax, recharge, and let everyone enjoy a slower pace after days packed with activities. In the evening, we made s’mores by a fire pit, an American traditional snack made up of marshmallows, chocolate and crackers, they loved it !! We finished the day with pizza and left a bit early as it was really windy!!

Friday was our big Disneyland day—and what a day it was. From the moment we walked through the gates, the students were buzzing with excitement. We managed to cover a lot of ground, from classic rides like Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain to fun, silly moments on the teacups and Jungle Cruise. One of the first rides we did as a group was Indiana Jones Adventure, and it set the tone for the day—fast-paced, immersive, and just the right amount of adrenaline. After that, the students split into smaller groups for a bit, which gave them some freedom to explore the park while still checking in regularly. A few of them raced to get to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen teens so wide-eyed. The level of detail in the area, especially Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, left a huge impression. Some of them even tried blue milk !

We ended the night in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle for the fireworks show. It’s hard to put into words how magical that moment felt. As the lights dimmed and the first sparkles hit the sky, the students went quiet—just watching in awe. Disney music played, the castle lit up in different colors, and for those few minutes, everyone seemed completely transported. Several students said it was their favorite part of the entire trip so far.

It was a long day, but it was completely worth it.
